Dear players

A new non-mandatory update of the game client (version 10.62) is now available. Your client will update automatically on the next launch, and here is what it brings:

Display

• Full support for high resolution (High DPI) displays - the client now follows your system display scaling and stays perfectly sharp, including on fractional scaling factors.
• New display scale option in the graphics settings, so you can pick the interface size that suits you best.
• The mouse cursor now scales together with the rest of the interface.

Performance

• Greatly reduced RAM usage - the client no longer keeps the entire graphics file in memory, saving hundreds of megabytes.
• Custom graphics are now loaded in the background, reducing small freezes during gameplay.
• The store window now opens noticeably faster.
• Faster battle list updates and numerous map rendering optimizations for smoother gameplay.
• Fixed a performance issue caused by very fast creatures that could noticeably slow down the client.

Sound

• New option to mute the playback of your own voice messages while still showing the talking indicator.

The update is optional - older 10.61 clients remain fully compatible, but we recommend updating to benefit from the improvements above.

The following changes were made after server save:

• Fixed an issue where Forgula gate levers would not reset properly.
• House Training Dummies now receive 1 damage per hit.
• Increased stone skin amulet physical resistance from 40% to 60%.

A new non-mandatory update of the game client (version 10.71) is now available. Your client will update automatically on the next launch, and here is what it brings:

Sound

Please note: the volume balance has changed, so your existing sliders won't match the new levels. Open Options -> Sound, click "Reset all sliders to default values", and then adjust them to your preference.

• All game sounds now play at a consistent loudness - no more effects that are jarringly loud or nearly inaudible.
• Interface sounds are no longer quieter than the rest of the game.

Character Bazaar

• The upfront fee to list a character on the Bazaar has been lowered from 25 to 10 Medivia Coins.
• Characters bought on the Bazaar are now delivered with a clean slate: they receive a new randomly generated name and their VIP list is reset, so a purchased character is no longer tied to or identifiable as its previous owner.

Performance

• Smoother rendering and fewer frame-rate drops, especially on Windows.
• Fewer momentary stutters from textures being reloaded during longer sessions.

Stability & Updates

• Fixed a crash that could occur while loading certain configuration files.
• More reliable auto-updating - the updater no longer resumes from outdated or partial downloads that could corrupt the client.

Dear players

A new feature is now available on the Character Bazaar, and here is what it brings:

Character Bazaar

• Sellers can now set an optional Buy Now price when listing a character. It must be higher than the starting bid.
• A character with a Buy Now price can be purchased instantly - no bidding, no waiting for the auction to end. The character is delivered to the buyer's account within a few minutes.
• To keep trading fair, the Buy Now option unlocks 24 hours after the auction starts. The price is visible right away, and the auction page shows when the option becomes available - so every offer gets a full day of public exposure before anyone can grab it.
• Auctions with a Buy Now price are marked with a gold price tag in the Bazaar listing, and the auction page shows the Buy Now price next to the current bid.
• The Buy Now option stays available until a bidder's maximum bid reaches the Buy Now price - from that point on, the auction continues as a regular bidding contest.
• The Bazaar listing can now also be sorted by newest auctions, so it is easier to spot characters that have just been put up for sale.

Dear players

Two fairness improvements are now live on the Character Bazaar, and here is what they bring:

Character Bazaar

• Once an auction has received a bid, it can no longer be cancelled after the first 24 hours of the auction. A leading bid is now a real claim on the character - sellers can no longer back out at the last moment once the bidding has begun.
• Sellers still keep a full day to change their mind: during the first 24 hours after listing, an auction can be cancelled even if a bid has already been placed - so an accidental listing can always be undone. The usual cancellation fee applies.
• Auctions without any bids can still be cancelled at any time, just like before.
• Late bids now extend the auction: whenever a bid is placed during the final 5 minutes, the remaining time is topped back up to 5 minutes. An auction only ends once five quiet minutes have passed without a new bid.
• This puts an end to sniping - a last-second bid no longer wins by leaving everyone else without time to react. If someone bids at the very end, every other bidder gets a fair window to answer.
• The auction page shows a reminder of the overtime rule right under the countdown, so nobody is surprised when an auction runs a little longer than planned.

• After the purchase, you must click "Redeem" in-game to receive the coins. This step is required to join the contest.
• Only Medivia Coins that are successfully redeemed in-game during the contest period will count toward your tickets.

• 1st place: Ironwarden outfit, dragon lord backpack (100 volume), red scale bag (100 volume), permanent icon of your choice, 5 mystery boxes and 10% experience boost for two weeks!

How it works:
Every Medivia Coin bought via Stripe or PayPal and redeemed during the contest period equals one ticket. Your odds are proportional to your share of the total coins redeemed by all participants.
Example: if all players buy 10 000 MC in total and you buy 1 000 MC, you hold 10% of the tickets.

Winners:
Winners will be selected at random on a live Discord stream within a week after the contest ends.
The contest will use an exclusion system. This means that once a player wins a specific place, they will be excluded from the draws for the remaining rewards. The drawing will begin from 1st place.
